Matthew 9:18 - 26


18 While he was saying this, a synagogue leader came and knelt before him and said, "My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her and she will live." 19 Jesus got up and went with him so did his diciples.

 ²⁰ Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. ²¹ She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”

 ²² Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.

 ²³ When Jesus entered the synagogue leader’s house and saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes, ²⁴ he said,“Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep.” But they laughed at him. ²⁵ After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up. ²⁶ News of this spread through all that region.

As i immerse myself into that time as an observer of the passage, it is really very amazing to see that miracle. Imagine yourself watching a dead person coming alive again. All the strangers and people are looking at the miracle performed by Jesus.

I will be spreading the news all over the WORLD for this is a miracle. GOD IS GOD

Jesus, you are the Healer. By knowing and watching and experiencing this story in the passage, faith has rise and more am i closer to our Lord

Lets end this by the Lord's Prayer

Our Father who ark in Heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day your daily bread
Forgive us for our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
Lead us not into the temptation
but Deliver us from evil
For thine is the kingdom
the power and the glory
forever and ever
AMEN

What would Jesus Do>?

Im after Mercy not Religion

ever wandered what Jesus meant when He said these words?
When have you felt like the outsider in MAtthew 9:9-13
When have people scrutinized and criticized you for the people you associated with?
Do you think their judgement was fair?

when i thought and read this chapter of the Word, i thought it was rather straight forward, MAtthew the tax collector had supper with Jesus in his house and the other people teased and criticized Jesus.

However, if we think more and deeper into the word and reflect on ourselves, have we been like JEsus? associating with the wrong crowd or people?
maybe ? yes no?
People used to tell me, do not make friends with these, do not associate with those people?
What would Jesus do?
What will Jesus do when there is a person we can reach out to but he is a criminal?
What will Jesus do when a outcasted person is lying on the road asking for help?
What will Jesus do when bad people need forgiveness?

Come to think about it, i was one of those people. In fact, we were those people.
We received forgiveness from God's mercy and God's Grace.
Why would we then not forgive or neglect other people?
Why would we not associate with those people because the world says so?
If that is the case, we should not associate with "US"

Thank you Oh Lord for your forgiveness, mercy and grace.
Teach us and show us to forgive and accept others
Lead us not into the temptation of other people
Deliver us from the evil thoughts of the world.
Thank you Jesus

Pray with SIMPLICITY

Matthew 6:5-13


And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. ⁶ But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. ⁷ And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. ⁸ Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
   ⁹ “This, then, is how you should pray:
   “‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
¹⁰ your kingdom come,
your will be done,
   on earth as it is in heaven.
¹¹ Give us today our daily bread.
¹² And forgive us our debts,
   as we also have forgiven our debtors.
¹³ And lead us not into temptation,^[a]
   but deliver us from the evil one

Wooooo....Isnt God amazing?
Many times i have envied about people ability to worship with beautiful words and very meaningful words........I admire for their gift in praying???
This is something that i learnt from this passage
Is not about the words i use or the way i pray.....is all about my heart....am i praying to God because is my heart desire or am i praying simply for the sake of praying or is a need???
Why am i always trying to find words to pray a very powerful prayer but instead just follow my heart and just pray with my normal self but with a right heart????


Remember, everything is about God....NO matter what beautiful or meaning words we use, if its not our heart's desire, is useless...

What a beautiful day

Very Very Very Productive day.
Woke up at around 8 am.....went towards the bank to get arrange some stuffs....FINALLY NO LONGER BROKE...THANK GOD hahahahahahahaa....super awesome, was just walking around and came across Thomas Sabo retail shop....WOOOO.....something for a friend's birthday maybe........looking at the price....WOOO......think about it first hahahahaha

Went over to Immigration office after that.....paid for my extension of student VISa...WOOHOOO......almost became a illegal immigrant........ hahahahahhaahaha

Went lunch with Gilbert and Joseph after that at Tak Chee....AWESOME PLACE TO EAT LA.... hahahahahaha

Thank God for patience and firm stand on NOT DRINKing
The night went VERY WILD but it was fun.........and very "entertaining"
Almost everyone got wasted badly

God's Grace

Live Before God

Matthew 5:27-29, 33-37

27 You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’²⁸ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. ²⁹ If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.


33 Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘Do not break your oath, but fulfill to the Lord the vows you have made.’ ³⁴ But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; ³⁵ or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. ³⁶ And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. ³⁷ All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

Lust is something very difficult and very distracting in my life and I admit it. I am actually having this problem and BOOM, God straight away address this problem in day one itself. HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD? '

Secondly, Jesus is trying to tell me that do not say words and dont mean it. Do not say I'll pray for you and dont do it. I have learnt this from a good friend of mine Gilbert who often tell me this sentence. "let you word but weighty?' something like that.

Let's not pretend that this is easier than how it is. Choose a life that is blinded one side than a life to be thrown into a moral trash pile. 

I love Jesus and I definitely would choose What Jesus will Do. 

From today forward with God's help, i will not think or look lustfully to any people from the opposite gender, and also not say words or promise anyone even if is religious and i dont mean or do it. 

Thank you Jesus.

Unlimited Grace

Today has been an awesome and full day thank to God. Went out in the morning to meet up with Yee Mei, my beloved sister and share about life. I have always wanted a bigger sister and by God's grace, i found two, Karen and Yee Mei. Thank God for blessing both of them in my life.

Shared about life and about my love life too which caught me thinking after that. Is she really the one? Is she the one God say YES and GO ahead? Have i really asked God properly and did i hear Him? hmph.........

Then she handed me a devotional and self reflection book which is AMAZING. Learnt a lot from the book and I will be sharing from the book even more throughout this journey. After that, went to class and it was beautiful. Met and got closer to some new friends and really thank God for the gift of connection and communication. 

Went for a meeting then with Joseph, Gloria, Yan Pin, Esther and Priscilla. During the meeting, we were reminded about the visitors that we met. Did we really catch up with them? Are we encouraging one another to follow up with the visitors? Dont we want to see more to be saved in Jesus name? Many times we get caught up with ministry, friends, work, studies that we totally forgetting about saving one more for Jesus.

An amazing thing happened when i was having dinner. I came to know that my friend, Kelvin Ng accepted Christ last semester. Weird not many people knows about this. It is something that is worth celebrating. Will be catching up with him about his walk and I truly believe this boy of faith can and will become a great leader and testimony one day. 

Went for my FIRST drama meeting and it was AWESOME. Had so much fun that we took quite some time to head home after Yan Jing said dismissed. During this practice, i began to notice that the way we act, talk and present ourselves can be very influential to people and that can be dangerous if we do it wrongly. This is something i must learn!!!

So many things to learn in one day!!!!

Believe God will make it happen.

Lets not give up in Jesus Name.

About my life

Finally a blog about my life is posted up. Really wanted to do this for a very long time but never had the discipline. This blog will be my story and my devotional learnings i have learnt. Will be a testimony to all people who are yet to be saved to know how God has been so gracious and loving and to the believers, encouraging them never to give up on God as He never gives us up.

A little about me in the past; I was a person who did a lot of the not so good things and involved in some not so healthy activities which I am not proud to speak of right now. Friends? I have a lot of friends, but sad to say, I didn’t really have any true friends, or rather, I felt like they are not true to me. I was a person whom I thought have no hope, no future, not worthy to be friends with and not worthy to be alive. I was lonely and full of hatred in my life. I was cursing all the time. I was basically in a valley of darkness with no escape routes or no ladders to climb back up. I thought I had no one in my life. I feel no support from people although they tried to. I hated almost everything I see or feel. I was really in need of a companion, a guide, a friend, a savior.

               I came to Perth three years ago. I was walking aimlessly in school alone when a stranger came and introduced Passion to me. I did go church before but was for other not really good reasons. I was brought to church and something strange was beginning to happen in my life.

               During that time, I was confronted by two of my leaders and I was introduced back to Jesus and I thank them for bombarding me about my life. I began to slowly read his Word and WOW, from a heart of hatred and loneliness; I was beginning to be filled with joy and peace, and especially a friend. From a person who is beyond hope and beyond forgiveness, God forgave me and gave me hope. I invited Jesus into my life and I was transformed. Anyone watched transformers here? Imagine, I am bumblebee in the first transformers, a lousy car that transformed into a mighty robot. WOOOOO!!!!!!

               After that beautiful exchange that took place, I began to see, walk, talk, and many other action verbs differently. Last time, I was always lack of attention and take pride in everything. I am not perfectly change now but am slowly learning His Word. I was taught by a lovely and beautiful friend of mine about a non-dictionary word call Humbility. Wherever you are, thank you for this funny word that brought so many changes to my life. All glory and praises are not for me, but the God almighty, who is everything to me. I slowly got to know who Jesus is and is so wonderful.

               Friends? Well, when I have a best friend call Jesus Christ, abundant of good relationships began to fall upon my life. I see friendships and relationships in totally another level from what I used to see them.  Jesus is so wonderful that I would love to share Him to everyone. A good friend once told me, the Good news, the story of Jesus, is just like a Fried Kuay teow. If the Kuey Teow is good, I would love to tell all the people I know about this food. SAME as Jesus. HE IS SO GOOD, I would love to share HIM to all the people I know and I hope we all do the same.

               Here I am, standing as a testimony to all of you and all other people out there, a testimony to show how gracious and how loving our God is. God bless all of you and I would love to spend eternity with all of you in Heaven together. Thank you
